Dan O’Brien heads up Aucoot, having taken the reins of the company in May 2024. With more than two decades of experience in the property industry, Dan was formerly a Director at Hamptons before going on to lead Urban Spaces.

Since taking over Aucoot, Dan has hand-picked a team of talented individuals who he believes perfectly balance what modern agency requires: forward-thinking content and creative thinking, underpinned by trusted advice, sound judgement and experience at the highest level.

Dan’s approach to agency has always been to lead from the front, rather than from the sidelines. His experience and ambition have helped drive significant growth at Aucoot, while reinforcing his belief that the best results come from surrounding yourself with exceptional people, each bringing a different perspective and expertise to the business.

He remains closely involved in the homes Aucoot represents, accompanying valuations wherever possible and helping shape the strategy behind every property that comes to market. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience, Dan brings a considered and commercially astute approach to even the most challenging markets, negotiations and scenarios.

Regularly quoted in the national press and design publications, Dan’s views on architecturally interesting homes and the wider property market have established him as a trusted voice within the design-led property space.

Dario brings over a decade of experience to his role as Head of Sales at Aucoot. Prior to joining the team, he headed up a department in Islington and Hackney for a well-known agency and oversaw a cluster of offices at one of north London’s largest independent family-run agencies.

With an enthusiasm for well-designed spaces, he has cultivated a large social media community showcasing some of London’s most inspiring homes.

Will brings 25 years of experience across both the country and London property markets. Prior to Aucoot, he was a director at Hamptons for over 16 years.

Living in Clapham with his family, Will has developed strong ties to many of the neighbourhoods in the area. His genuine love for south-west London underpins the deep local knowledge he brings to leading our sales across the region.

Jack brings over a decade of experience in the design-led property world, with a career shaped by a belief that homes with character deserve thoughtful, intelligent representation. Prior to joining Aucoot, Jack spent ten years at The Modern House, where he progressed from sales negotiator to most recently, department head. 

As Head of South East London at Aucoot and living in Brockley with his family, Jack leads sales across the region with a strategic, hands-on approach to pricing, positioning and buyer demand.

Leanne brings over a decade of senior-level experience across administration, operations, and sales. Working closely with Dan for eight years at Hamptons, they transformed their region into the most profitable in the company’s history. 

Today, Leanne has successfully transitioned into a Sales Consultant role, where she excels at building relationships, understanding clients’ needs, and delivering exceptional service.

Having built his career across North London, Medz brings a strong track record in residential sales, combining commercial acumen with a genuine passion for helping people navigate one of life’s biggest decisions. 

He values thoughtful marketing, honest advice and building lasting relationships, taking the time to understand both the homes he represents and the people behind them.

Akua is a Sales Consultant at Aucoot and an ARB registered architect. She brings to her role a decade of experience working on projects of varying scales for a host of practices, including Gort Scott, Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, HUT Architecture and Scott Brownrigg.

Akua’s interests extend to following home renovations, interior design and a deep appreciation for the arts, culture and music.

Rob built a career in photography and filmmaking over the course of ten years in the fashion industry, with his work appearing across online and in-store campaigns for some of the UK’s leading retailers.

At Aucoot, Rob heads up the creative team and plays a key role in shaping our visual output. His considered approach and attention to detail ensure homes and their stories are portrayed in an authentic and meaningful way, while continually raising the benchmark for production.

Hannah started her career in the fashion industry for leading luxury brands, however, a lifelong passion for interiors, led her joining the editorial teams at The Modern House and Inigo. 

In her role at Aucoot, Hannah oversees our editorial content across the content calendar, social channels, newsletters and journal. With a genuine passion for the design community, she curates in-person events, interviews industry insiders and oversees our brand partnerships.

Sophia joined Aucoot following ten years at a leading locations agency where she developed a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of interiors.

Her role incorporates interior and architectural photography across our listings, as well as portraiture and editorial photography for our journal and social channels. Her longstanding passion for design and architecture informs her work, with an honest approach to visual storytelling at its forefront.

Carter joined Aucoot with a background in property, having worked in the industry since 2018, alongside a career in filmmaking and visual storytelling. His work focuses on architecture, interiors and design-led spaces, with a particular interest in how moving image can capture the character and atmosphere of a home.

At Aucoot, Carter creates films that help to bring each home’s story to life, with his work appearing across our listings and social channels.

Charlie is a writer, editor and creative consultant with deep ties across the design and architecture world. He spearheaded the content at The Modern House for six years, shaping creative strategies that have influenced how design-led homes are presented and understood.
